Mary Worth 216

It isn't serious, Mary Worth? Then why does it look like he's punched you in the lip?

"Of course I didn't misunderstand him, Toby! How dare you insinuate that the fault could somehow lie with me! I think it's time for you to leave. Clearly, we both need a little breathing room."

  1. How dare somebody else tell Mary Worth what to do?????????

If Vera had any stones, she'd come back with "Oh, come off it, you old bag! You've spent your entire life telling everybody ELSE what to do! Now do you know what it's like for the rest of us?"

  2. Perhaps he did punch Mary in the lip. I've always thought that the comic could easily be recast into a fight scene. You can see my effort at this here: Manga Worth

  3. patrick,

This is brilliant! I hope everyone takes time to enjoy it. Be warned: Not to be read by people with heart conditions, back problems or past their first trimester of pregnancy.

  4. Wanders, I have to tell you that your imagined next-panel dialogue made me laugh out loud. On multiple occasions. I'm loving the idea of Mary ending all her conversations this way from now on.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
