Awww! Sweet photo there on the table of Toby and Ian in younger years before Toby was a bleach blonde and Ian's hair all turned grey. Hmmm, Ian might want to consider starring in Just For Men ads to make a little extra money now....
Is that a photo of Ian and Toby? My eyesight is not good enough to tell. It kind of looks like a photo of MARY and Toby... but mainly I just see Toby and someone with white hair.
Oh gosh darn it! My eyes are getting bad. I thought the pocket book on the table was yet another answermachine/phone. It's all the time travel...fast forward, real time etc. I guess my head is swimming from that... it couldn't possibly be from my age I'm sure!
Toby is going to be poor when this is all done, and Mary find her old friend Cathy to see if her mom won't invite Toby over for dinner. Cathy's mother will say a prayer of thanks for Toby's presence at the table, and say she's always welcome in her home for dinner.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
How many answer machines does Toby own?
ReplyDeleteToby falls to her knees in worship of the God Who Speaks From The Little Box and awaits its command.
ReplyDeleteIf only it would command her not to wear such garish shorts.

ReplyDeleteToby is apparently being literally run through a wringer, as evidenced by the sudden elongation and flattening of her face in today's panel 2.

I thought panel 2 was showing Toby's face imploding from the shock.

ReplyDeleteI think it's Mary and Toby, too. I did a lot of squinting, so you know I'm right.

ReplyDeleteWhy is her furniture so low she can't reach it from a standing position?

ReplyDeleteToo bad Cathy's mom is probably dead.
