Mary Worth 297

I don't think we've seen Toby's tail before. Beautiful plumage!

Gertrude McFuzz would be envious.

Toby was right; it is never dull when Ian's around but when Toby is left to her own devices things get very dull very fast.

    I'm bored. You're boring, Toby.

What is this crazy talk of calling the bank in relation to financial transactions? We all know that nothing will be sorted until you consult Mary.

  2. My gosh! Mary has been gone so long working on all that "paper work". She must be settling the national debt!
I tell ya, either Ian is about to show up in the strip humuliated in front of the Blow Hard convention (kudos to I think Shandyowl for that)or Toby will go into a secret mode to not let Ian know how dumb she has been, of course to save herself from the wrath of Chinbeard!

  3. Yes, it must have been the bank's fault. It couldn't be something Toby has done. Already she's forgotten the $1.09 purchase from Pretty Purposes that erroneously showed up on her credit card bill? Her brain is more pea-sized than originally thought.

  4. Shandyowl, you are correct. The pace of this story line is so slow that watching paint dry would be more exciting.

  5. I keep waiting for Toby to check her email again, and to call Mary, all excited about the fact that a Nigerian businessman wants to give her some money.

  6. From the way Toby's face has just been slap-dash filled in with black ink, I can see artist Joe Giella was late for a golf date.

Or Mary's coming for a visit and her unholy shadow has arrived several minutes ahead of schedule. Either one, you pick.

  7. Toby looks pretty smokin' when you can't see her face.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
