I'm thinking that they need to wait and see if Ted really pays the money that was pledged,before he can receive the 'brownie points'. Anyone can write a huge number on a napkin. The kids at Peace Village can't do much with that. Likewise, it will also show the level of commitment Ted has to Adrian. Personally, I think his whole act is a con, because everyone knows that in Worthdom, the primary character names have an even number of letters in the name. For, example-Mary, Jeff, Toby, Drew. lol

ReplyDeleteMary is sure acting oddly with that coffee cup! Look how she's turned her body a wee bit away from Dr. Jeff. I think she's putting a little *something* extra in it, and she doesn't want Jeff to see. Not that he's paying her any attention, though. Next panel, she's got her lips all pursed, and her eyes are blazing; suddenly feels Sooo much more alert!
