Mary, get help. Please. Before it is too late. Your problem is as easy to see as a room full of boxes, obvious to everyone but yourself. Of course you want to criticize Bonnie. She lives in a condo full of boxes. Boxes from Maisie's and J.B. Penny. Big boxes, with stripes. You can't help yourself. Bonnie is the first person to stand up to Mary Worth since Lynn Griffin told Mary to take a hike. I hope she has better luck at helping Mary change her ways.
Today's Full Strip
Looks like B?BJ? is about to deliver a right hook to The Denying Meddler's Jaw. I'd pay $20 to see that.
ReplyDeleteWow, Bonnie's really morphed into Ernest Borgnine in today's strip and gotten super aggressive with Mary. But Mary's not intimidated. Bonnie might find herself in a wrecked car filled with store boxes before this story is over.
ReplyDeleteMary looks pretty darn fierce in the second panel! Scary!
ReplyDeleteI believe B?BJ? may be transforming into more of a Rocky Marciano. Maybe her anger can shape shift her into the Incredible Shopping Hulk! I'd love to see Bonnie give conniving medelsome Mary a poke in the eye with her left index finger then follow up with a real old fashioned haymaker from her fisted right! Mary launched her nosey assault upon Bonnie and she should get what coming to her.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking Solomon Grundy from the Old Scooby Doo episode (matching outfit too!), but upon further review, I have to go with Robert and the Ernest Borgnine comparsion. Now if Mary picks up a chair....
ReplyDeleteIn B?BJ? Moy has finally written a character we can admire. I wonder if she realizes it.

ReplyDelete@mrvy: You know it! Mary ain't takin' that sass, and she's not there to make friends!
ReplyDeleteOMG, this is SO good!
Oh yeah! Are you ready to rrrrruuuuuuuummmmmmble?
ReplyDeleteBonnie has like totally morphed into an take-no-names killing machine!
With apologies to Malvina Reynolds-
ReplyDeleteLittle boxes at the Johnson's,
Little boxes filled with tacky clothes,
Little boxes on the sofa,
Little boxes on the floor.
There's a striped one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they're all filled with tacky clothes
And they all look just the same.
@Robert: LoL, "wrecked car filled with store boxes". Shades of Aldo Kelrast!
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna' be an awesome catfight! We've all sensed B?BJ? hasn't liked Mary from the get-go. Not even the peach banana pie, now cold, could sway ol' Bonnie.
Interesting use of body language today, especially that pointy finger in the last panel. However will this end?
ReplyDeleteGood grief, I half expect B? to rip off her JC Nickel shirt and go all Hulk on Mary!
ReplyDeleteNow that would make for some good entertainment.
At some point in this discussion, B?BJ? ran to the bathroom and washed off all her makeup in preparation for the smackdown that is about to take place.
ReplyDeleteMy code word today is "grobbl", which seems to sum up the whole situation quite nicely.
That's cute, Maude! :D
ReplyDeleteDang it!!! More "choosing" and "choices that aren't easy" vs. "I need my things", blah, blah, blah... Boring!!! It's obvious the weekend panels are drawn by someone else; someone who's just phoning it in. We wanted to see a catfight, not giant photos of Ernie & Bonnie! Grrr...
