Mary Worth 884

Mary Worth, you lying little sneak. You just told Jill Black that you didn't want dessert, but the moment she leaves, you order lemon meringue pie. Back stabber!

Still, you can't blame Mary; she looks like a lemon meringue pie. Her hair is the meringue.

Today's Full Strip

  1. They must be at the restaurant that's next to the beach; that couple at the other table looks like Mike and Jenna.

  2. What is Adrian's problem? Is she really reconsidering her marriage because of what Jilt said? If so, thren she is probably too immature to marry anyway.

  3. I miss Jill.....wonder who she's setting straight today? Well, I guess we'll stay with Mary and droopy Adrian and listen to a few platitudes. Sigh!

  4. I really don't see the problem in marrying below your social status. I mean, look how well it worked out for Elizabeth Taylor and Larry Fortensky.

  5. I guess Mary looked at how much Jill left in cash for the waiter, decided he hadn't done that good a job, and used some of that cash for the lemon meringue pie. How practical!

  6. Talk about wasting this golden opportunity. Ladies: TALK ABOUT JILL! Isn't Mary dying to know how Adrian could have chosen Jill as a friend? And how Adrian feels about being laughed at (HA HA HA HA) while trying on that dress? C'mon Mary, your meddling skills are slipping. (And then PLEASE go home and change out of that outfit - you've been wearing it all fall, it seems. But if there is any justice, spare us those two weeks back on the couch, while you fill Dr. Jeff in...)

  7. @ Birdie 11:39: You've got that right!

In other news, I say the heck with this storyline and let's all join them for lemon meringue pie on Jill's dime. Yum!

  8. mmm...pie and salty tears...I am sure once Adrian stops crying, she'll want some pie, too. I sure will.

But wait! Has Jill left her purse at the table? Will she return to see them eating...pie

  9. Now that she's gone, someone finally gave Jill a chair.

  10. It's rare for us to know what dish is being illustrated! So if we're lucky, it will be lemon meringue pie tomorrow. I can't wait to see it.

  11. I think that as a sweet revenge, Adrian should pick out the most unflattering, hideously ugly bridesmaid dress imaginable for Jill.

  12. Does the pari have the same color problems as character's hair in this strip? Will lemon meringue look loike blueberry? The suspense is killing me!

  13. In Santa Royale, "order some lemon meringue pie" is code for "hire a team of hitmen."

    Moy/Giella present KILL JILL.

  15. Cheap, cheap, CHEAP!!! Who, (other than maybe a couple such as a husband/wife), offers to buy their friend a dessert to SHARE!? C'mon, Mare, Adrian looks like she could use a piece of pie all to herself! Cheap.

  16. After all, Vicki, if Adrian is going to marry 'beneath her station' she will have to learn to economize.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
