Mary Worth 1,030

I think it's about time for Liza to step up the crazy and move from texting to trespassing. Otherwise, as awesome as this story is, it's going to plateau. If at some point, Drew isn't hiding in the custodial closet at Mountview Hospital in the middle of the night, whimpering quietly, I'm going to be completely let down.

Today's Full Strip

  1. Liza has already driven Drew to the depths of depravity: texting while driving.

  2. Let me say it. This "chapter" will be about the perils of texting and driving.

    Agree?

  3. Liza won't take "no" for an answer?

Then it's time for the ol' one-two punch: an intervention followed by a Kelrastian plummet over a cliff!

  4. If he doesn't stop driving and texting, he will get into an accident. . .slip into a coma. . .Liza will proclaim that they are to be married and she will practically take over his life and everyone will believe her. He will suffer from temporary paralysis. .so he can hear but not react. He will be a prisoner of Liza's sick mind.

  5. Has Drew never watched Two and a Half Men? Liza is his Rose.

  6. Tell LiZa to meet you in the cafeteria. Tell her to keep waiting if you're delayed. Don't show up.

  7. Ask LiZa to meet you somewhere. Arrange for a surprise visit from Ryan Harris, who will cup your chin and kiss the back of your head - all for a free cup of coffee.

  8. Yes, it'll be about texting while driving, another of the perils of the crazy electronic age.
You'd never catch Mary Worth (Where is she, by the way?) doing that.

  9. If LiZa loses her job at the hospital, there's a great future for her in writing the sayings on Valentine's conversation hearts candies.

Maude Findlay, you are a saint!

I tried to post this last night, but it wouldn't let me -- this newfangled World Wide Web machine! But, Dr. Drew has been going on about how LiZa won't comprehend that they are no longer together. Um...did I miss something? Did I miss the day where they were actually a couple? From what I can remember, they went out to dinner, or it might have been two dates (the continuity in their outfits suggests the latter) and then all of a sudden LiZa was thrown into an obssessive state where she actually says *puke* "LUVR" in a text.

  11. Hey Luvr, my mind games and passive aggression will destroy you. (Unless, of course, Mary is consulted)

  12. @ James in North Dakota - You must have missed the first date, when LiZa told Drew, "You complete me". And you must have missed Drew not run for the hills.

  16. Psycho LiZa has nothing to worry about. She never gets fired for poor job performance, she closes on the apartment of her dreams, she even has Drew believing they WERE a couple even when they weren't!
She'll wear him dowwwwnnn eventually but then tire of him and break up, and he'll go back to his magazines. And Vietnam.
Mary and Jeff will drink coffee on Mary's sofa and go, "that's too bad about Drew. That nurse didn't work out. He deserves love, blah, blah, blah...

  17. Remember Kathy Bates's character in "Misery"? If Drew has an accident texting while driving, and Liza ends up caring for him at the hospital, we could see crazy like we've never imagined!

  18. Actually, I think they became a couple in her mind when she saw him working at the hospital. Guess she wants to marry a doctor really bad!!!
