Well, I just got back in town from my trip to Illinois and Missouri, and not a moment too soon! The police have arrived. It's a good thing it took them just over two weeks to get here.
And all I missed was Mary Worth trying to sign Emily up for Barbizon.
Today's Full Strip
"Oh, no!"
ReplyDeleteWhere have I read those words before?
@Paul:
ReplyDelete--When my wife saw me reading Mary Worth to our kids...
--When Mary brought Salmon cakes to the pool party..
--When Mary climbed the stool an knocked her last container of Kelk off the top shelf...
--Aldo's last words as his car cleared the guardrail and dropped off the cliff
--In at least 3 comments a day at Mary Worth and Me
Is today's (Sunday's) strip a first? The story line is actually advanced, by the arrival of the police, in contrast to the usual recap of the previous six days.
ReplyDeleteAlso, where is the ice cream Emily and Thuggy are taking out?
Way to be covert, SRPD. He'll never know the jig is up now.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly, Ice. Seriously, the police are gonna come to the scene with sirens blaring simply based on some old lady's tip? And most importantly, might scare the guy away if it really is the kidnapper!
ReplyDelete@Tony, never mind the ice cream! Where is Mary's sweater?
ReplyDeleteHope that police car comes with a stash of D batteries.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Wanders!
ReplyDeleteUpon seeing the police car, I would think instead of "OH, NO!", Wayne would most likely say,"*&^%$#@!" ?
Monday: That Wayne is just about the dumbest criminal of all time. First he falls for the old "free rainbow swirl" trick, and then he bolts as soon as he hears a siren. Way to play it cool, Wayne.
ReplyDeleteRainbows and weapons and cops... Oh No!
