  1. Our present from Uncle Joe--a beautifully rendered muscular and toned turkey--surrounded by gray kelk dumplings. Of course, Dawn's head emerging from the bird only makes it more festive.

Thanks for getting up early and posting for us on Christmas Day, Wanders. Blessings to you and your family.

  3. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this act of cannibalism about to take place. I immediately thought of Newman picturing Kramer's head on the turkey. Christmas can apparently be brutal, but I hope you all have a merry one.

  4. Looks like John Dill is dining alone today, or maybe working on his cake entry.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a platitude filled day!

  5. Poor Dr. Jeff. Shoved into the background again...

  6. I've never thought of roasting a turkey-girl on hot stones, but maybe I'll try it next Thanksgiving. I hope I get that same dingy brown colored skin on it/her!

  7. Drew and Adrian must be celebrating the holiday at their mother's - the ex-Mrs. Cory.

    Happy Holidays, everyone.

  9. While Dawn was getting roasted, the guests were getting toasted.
    And Wilbur now is pining
For the start of the dining.
And all are relieved that Mary did not duplicate the menu from MW1177 (ll/24/11)
    Dr. Jeff checks his watch.
    Ian checks for more Scotch.
And Toby's running late to meet up with a date.
While Mary tries to remember if she's serving vegetable terrine or kelk kugel.

  10. A merry and non-brutal Christmas to all! Don't eat too much of that roast Dawn!

  11. I haven't read Mary Worth for decades, so don't know why all the men are smiling in this panel while all the women are looking anxious or, at best, wistful.

Can anyone shed some light on this mystery? I don't like to speculate.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
