The creepiness factor just skyrocketed up with this installment. And I doubt if that was intentional.
Is it possible the writing is done in another language and put through an inferior translation program that spits out these unrealistic conversations??
@WakeMeUpWhenItsOver: I've thought for a long time that the dialogue is outsourced to Call Center rejects, and Moy has an intern translate it to English.
Also, you can always tell when Giella uses his art school interns, because Mary will look younger and Wilbur thinner.
I think I can't add anything more to the ick factor going on in today's strip.
So, I'll just throw this out there: Jerry's office seems quite capacious and well appointed for a sandwich shop. He could be using that space as a private room for Wilbur's sandwich parties!
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
"I can be generous in other ways.."????!?!

"I can be generous in other ways, Tommy!" Sexytimes ensue!
ReplyDeleteDouble fist pump enthusiasm. Just hope he doesn't abuse the hospitality. Have we gotten the "tough but fair" message yet?
