Mary Worth 2152

While Floating Head fans will be all a-twitter at today's Double Header, today really is all about Ian. Such anxiety, and almost-but-not-quite desperation, so deserving. Mary's never seen him this way, and yet she's conjured the perfect representation of Ian's mental state all while driving without looking at the road.

  1. Wow, BOGO floating heads! Is this a first?

Mary is picturing Toby looking haggard, which indicates that Mary has quickly tired of her house guest.

Wouldn't it be great if the distracted Mary runs over Jeff in his driveway?

  2. A mind-boggling floating head twofer, with Ian blown up to Macy parade balloon proportions. Mary proves to be a way more distracted driver than ol' Hannah.

  3. "Hooray" Mary says to herself, delighted that Toby the Tosspot will soon be homeward bound. When was the last time you said "Hooray" to yourself?

  4. I like the fact that Mary thinks of Toby with dry, brittle, overblown hair.

  5. Then there's that "he deserves a chance" comment. . .. Like SHE knows!! Mary the Mind Reader along with being an ace Meddler. . ..

  6. It looks as though Mary got herself a new car! The color is redder. It must be the newest model--a 2016 Chevy Citation.

If not, then Uncle Joe got a new ink pen.

  7. Thank you, Wanders, for your very Thoreau analysis of the situation. Frankly, I'm ready to throw both Toby and Ian into Walden Pond.

  8. Watch out Mary you're going to crazy into Sean Hastings! Then throw the blame on him and cause him to lose his license.

  9. Hooray! Mary is the perfect upstanding citizen today, wearing pearls and keeping her hands at the 10 o'clock and the 2 o'clock positions. And, of course, knowing exactly what's best for her two best friends!

Mary's passive-aggressive comment of the day:
"There, there, dear. By the time I come home, I'm looking forward to watching 'Real Housewives of Santa Royale' on my couch ... ALONE!"

  11. This story line is moving far too swiftly for the Worthiverse. I sense a disturbance in The Force.

  12. Can we start yelling "Where's your neck?!??!?!!" at Ian, a la Rocky Horror?

    Oooh! Waffles in the captcha!
