Mary Worth 2208

"You get me, Mary... wait. What? You think my supernatural experiences are imaginary? You don't believe I really see angels and flower fairies? You're no better than my pathetic parents. You're dead to me, Mary. Dead to me."

  1. Imaginary? You'll see how imaginary things are, Mary, when vengeful flower fairies come creeping into the guest room. The ones from the poinsettias have a nasty sense of humor, and the one from the forced amaryllis bulb is truly ticked off.

  2. I wonder what a psychotherapist would make of this? Perhaps social services could get involved and get her the treatment she needs. But,then again, I doubt KM would agree to therapy.

  3. Not only has KM never spoken with a child, I doubt she ever WAS a child.

Speaking of children, none are evident in this crowd (I refuse to count Olive). Maybe they opted for "Kinky Boots. "

  4. I hope Mary and Olive can discuss at greater length Mary's ability to understand Olive and how tough it is for Olive to be different from everyone else. Because I'm not really sure I've gotten the message yet.

I just knew a reference to Harry Potter would come up at some point. I expect that Mary will soon refer to Ed and Evy as "your Muggle parents, dear!"

I can't see Olive as Gryffindor material. She's not clever enough for Ravenclaw, and too dull and pedantic for Hufflepuff. That leaves Slytherin, and they'd eat her alive--literally. So, don't keep looking for owls, Olive, the letter from Hogwart's isn't coming.

Hmmm ... Olive talks like a middle-aged person. I think her Hogwarts moment has passed, but Mary might try to spirit her off to Santa Royale before this plot comes to an end. Will the Taylors put up a fight? some meager resistance? or will they breathe a hefty sigh of relief? Stay tuned, Mary fans!

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
