Mary Worth 2571

The Activities Guide says this is a variety of acts, and given that Mary spent a lot of time watching Ziegfeld's Follies on the Great White Way, she knows when a variety show is Broadway quality.

Enjoy: 13

  1. A lot of shows open on Broadway...and close the very same night. That's the kind of Broadway quality we're dealing with here.

  4. Not only did Mary watch the Ziegfeld Follies, Dear Jack put money into it.

I hope that in tomorrow's strip, the people next to Derek and Katie smack them upside the head. WOW!

  5. Looks like they're third row center. And tonight's first (solo) act is Gallagher! This should be GOOD.

  6. At intermission, will Derek sneak out for a "Between the Acts" cigar?

  7. Aside from the meagerly talented magician the only entertainer I recall from multiple cruises is Stu, the Australian cruise director, dressed in drag.

Derek Hoser: "I'm ready to be WOWED!" ... Well, Derek, that's what I've been thinking myself, ever since this cruise "plot" started! ... I'm still waiting.

Mary's Helpful Hint #23: If the "amazing" show turns out to be a bore, you can always hold hands with the person next to you, maybe even play a little "footsie"! Just make sure that it's the person you came in with, otherwise, things could get ... AWK ... WARD!!!
