Mary Worth 2591

Of course! Of course! Why didn't I think to just ask Mary? Mary knows. She always knows. Of course, Esme is going to have to kill Mary if she ever hopes to carry out any other diabolical plans.

  1. Methinks Mary is a little too knowledgeable as to the whereabouts of Kate

  2. Wanders, I think you made a mistake. You uploaded yesterday's comic. Not that anything new and exciting is going on anyway, with the exception of the missing light bulb that should be above Derek's head.

  3. "Have you checked the beach restrooms?"

Aha! Has Mary cracked the case? Will one of the great mysteries of our time be solved?

    Probably not.

  4. When they break down the door and rescue Katie, I hope they find her smoking a cigarette.

  5. Mary will rescue Katie, just in time to reboard a ship that is staying upright by sheer force of will. It seems to be riding in about two feet of water there at the dock.

  6. So what is all this leading up to? It will be interesting to see what Evil Entertainer Esme's end game is here.

And by interesting, I mean boring.

  7. "Gee, why would I have checked the restrooms?" Saying that Derek is as dumb as a box of rocks is an insult to boxes of rocks everywhere.

  8. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "Derek's Lightbulb Burned Out Long Ago, But Lucky For Katie, He Is No Slouch At Asking For Help And Taking Direction".

    Here, shows up?
    Yes...beach restrooms?
    Not yet!
    There?

  9. Do you think that, on some Sunday in June, the Thwarted Entertainer Esme will say, as she is admonished by Mary, "And we'd have left port without that skinny nag, too, if it weren't for that meddling old woman"?

And then will the kids and the talking dog all drive away in their super mod van and...oh, wait.

    Never mind.

  10. I predict Esme will be stationed outside the restroom door and spring out just in time to "rescue" Katie in front of Derek, except that Mary will have discovered she dropped her scarf somewhere along the Walkway and will be scouring the area to find it just as she sees Esme leaping out to open the bathroom door...

  11. The whole logistics of the search is confusing.

  12. How does that boat stay standing upright?

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
