Oh, dear. Now poor Derek will have to sleep in a deck chair under a beach towel. That is, unless a friend offers him shelter. As a headliner, I wonder if Triple-E has her own cabin, or if it will be her roommates consigned to deck chairs and beach towels?
Won't we all be disappointed when Derek seeks solace with Mary..
(I do want to give KM props for stepping up her game... It's the days in a row now where she's avoided mailing it in by using the "!" dialogue option for Derek)
I'm afraid that Katie may have slam!med the door so hard that she broke the lock and can't open the door any more. What will Derek do? Break the door open—again–or just go and have another smoke—alone or accompanied?
This story has gone from the Hoosier lovebirds making goo-goo eyes at each other nonstop to Katie throwing Derek out of their cabin. Just think, if they hadn't gone on this cruise, Derek would never have smoked again, and they would have lived happily ever after with no need of Mary's advice.
Esme was a genius - locking Katie in the bathroom was just enough extra stress to push Derek into smoking again (blatantly) and getting kicked out of his own cabin - and now Esme can have him to herself (for a one night stand anyway). Next it's Esme vs. Mary in an epic meddling battle. Fun!
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

ReplyDeleteGee, if only Derek had a friend on board to tell his marital troubles to over a couple of smokes.

I see Derek sleeping in a life boat.

ReplyDeleteThis has to be the part where Mary will finally get to meddle.
ReplyDeleteWow, if this is how mad Katie gets about Derek sneaking a smoke can you imagine how she gets if he leaves up the toilet seat.
