Let's face it. You've broken up with Wilbur at least twice. Then you broke up with Zak. And now you feel sorry for yourself that Wilbur "broke up" with you after you broke up with him and Zak? I just don't understand women. As portrayed in Mary Worth.
I don't understand women either, Wanders. And I am one!
ReplyDeleteToday's Boldface Haiku is titled "Iris Is The Personification Of The George Santayana Quote; Hence, The Foreshadowing Provided By The History 101 Textbook".
ReplyDeleteZakiks...my...Zakiks Studio...gangbusters!
Look...business...impressed! Knew!
Thanks. You. Glad!
Happy! Deserve.
You. Are you?
Breakup. "Happy" vocabulary.
Change...
And by 'Zakiks Studio' he means his 1 room apartment.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that Iris was getting younger by the panel until we closed with the interlocking of Zak's voice hot and Iris' Mickey Mouse hand. Now I'm not sure what to think.
Wanders, Karen Moy doesn't do a good job with men, either. All relationships in the Worthiverse are unreal and infuriating.
ReplyDeleteNote to @Dave in Parma, my comment yesterday aimed to show how clueless Zak is. I figure Iris is about 20 years older than him, yet he seems oblivious to the age issue. Are there no other women in his circle? He boasts about his success, yet no one else is attracted to him?Or does he have Mommy issues? Iris has infantalized Tommy, so I guess she can do the same with Zak.
Well, this is a crabby comment by me! I should post a picture of Lucy Van Pelt, fussbudget extraordinaire! Moy's pablum is driving me bonkers.
ReplyDeleteI know this is coming, maybe around date number three:
Iris, I realize this is a little early, and I don't want to rush anything, but how do you feel about children? Lots of them.
Uh, say what now? Oh gee, look at the time.
What sort of game is Zakiks? Match-three? First-person shooter? A Tetris ripoff? One assumes that people are downloading it in droves and it’s number one at the App Store. And that’s the only crumb of interest I can muster about this lamer-than-lame storyline. I had some hopes for Wilbur/Fabiana, thinking that she would prove to be conniving and evil, a Latina Esme.
ReplyDeleteAnd again with the "I'm going to change your life, girlie" plotline...C'mon, Iris, get your degree and get a marketing job in New Orleans so you can determine your OWN future....
ReplyDeleteIris: "In the two weeks since we stopped dating, I've already broken up with another man!"
ReplyDeleteZak: "Hot damn! No red flags here!!"
