I don't know, she sounds pretty sincere. It's hard to know since we never saw what they were actually doing, but Wilbur, you may be walking away from the absolute best thing that's ever happened to you.
Yes, Wilbur, we take you for an idiot, have done for some time now. Hopefully, you now realize that not only is Fabiana too hot for you, so is Iris. Heck, Wilbur, Mary Worth is too hot for you.
Wanders, a suggestion for the Charterstone jukebox: Evil Woman by ELO. (was just playing it on my iTunes and the words are perfect for this situation.)
Another thing I noticed (other than Wilbur's more than obvious stupidity) is that if Fabiana just left Wilbur, a few minutes ago, she has completely changed her outfit. Is this her "get busy with Cousin Pedro" outfit?
I don't mean to dis John Major, but I have a feeling that gazillions of people have opined that life is full of surprises.
When will Wilbur call his bank and cancel the ring payment? Or is he letting Fabiana keep the ring? Will Wilbur have to work his way back to Santa Royale as a crew member on a freighter?
Wanders, I had the same thought. We've got Fabiana and Pedro all wrong. They really are cousins and they really were rehearsing and she really is madly in love with Wilbur. What fools we've been!
Kit Kat, I thought the same thing. My first snarky reaction was, "Oh, so THAT'S who said that!"
Well, as usual, nothing happened that wasn't completely predictable. However, on the up side, at least Wanders got to take another gander at those leopard skin pants!
This strip has been funny in the last two days! First, Pedro still offered Wilbur the dance lessons and now Wilbur's, "Do you take me for an idiot?" remark.
I'm not saying you should add it to the jukebox, but Fabby calling after Wilbur on the street reminds me of Cher singing "Baby Don't Go." I'll bet John Major was surprised to be quoted in Mary Worth.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

Gosh, Wilbur’s arms could give Popeye a run for his money.

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "Bogota Boogie Love, The Musical!"
ReplyDeleteSurprise...you me!

ReplyDeleteFabiana may indeed be the best thing that's ever happened to Wilbur. Unfortunately, he can't afford her.
