Could Jeff be MORE wooden? I'm doubtful.. And why do Mary and Jeff keep calling Ted Miller a "character" or asking one another if he is one? Inquiring minds want to know.
In the South (and that's where I live), if anyone (especially a woman) called someone 'your friend, Ted Miller,' instead of just 'Ted'...I'd be waiting for about a size 15 shoe to drop.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
ReplyDeletePossible reactions from Jeff:
1. He did WHAT!?!?!? I'll kill that son of a @*&%#!
2. Did you hug him back?
3. Yeah, whatever, but are you going to go into business?
4. Well, he's quite a character.

June has given Mary a coy, almost sly expression. Darn, she wants to make Jeff jealous. That’s operating on a real middle school level.
ReplyDeleteToday's Boldface Haiku is titled
ReplyDelete"Ted Miller, Ted Miller, Ted Miller".
Dinner? Craving Bum Boat!
Like. Also, Ted Miller.
Character?

ReplyDeleteMary specified “Ted Miller” so Jeff would know which of his Ted friends she meant. Jeff collects Teds because he aspires to give a TED Talk some day.
ReplyDeleteI hope Ted Miller is at the Bum Boat, wearing one of those arrow-through-the-head things under a ball cap. What a character!
At least Jeff does not have a craving for...Mary's Muffins!
ReplyDeleteWho is eating all the muffins that Mary keeps baking?
ReplyDeleteKitkat! Wonderful! But I think Ted should have a fish through his head. It is the Bum Boat, after all.
ReplyDeleteI can only assume that Laren Coy has a whole other meaning for the word "character".
