Mary Worth 2952

Karen Moy's words say, "And they lived happily ever after." June Brigman's art says, "I'm not so sure about that..."

I miss the days when Joe Giella would just draw a fifth finger or an extra elbow to indicate his frustration.

    "Some People Will Believe Anything".

    Sorry past. Need truth.

  2. That second panel makes me think the bench broke away and they are floating off to sea.

  4. Brandy is gauging her chances of survival if she makes a run for it.

  5. Is Brandy sitting on Tommy’s lap in p. 2? That’s a narrow boardwalk and an even narrower bench.

@RobC, I agree that the Dysfunctional Duo floating out to sea would be a perfect conclusion to this plot.

  6. It appears that they got up and switched places so they could hug. Weird.

  7. What I love about reading these comments, aside from the fact that they're hilarious, is when someone points out something I hadn't noticed, like the fact that Brandy and Tommy switched places to hug. And Wanders, I loved your secret message.

I like the fact that Brandy's shoes match her shirt, and her shorts match Tommy's hair.

Yeah, nothing can go wrong here. I agree that Brandy seems to be looking over her shoulder for a way out. She's thinking, "Ride the bus? Or date an alky?"

  8. Brandy appears to be at least 20 years older than Tommy. She must be aged Brandy.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
