Mary Worth 3035

Or in words Ian can understand: "Hier is voor mij en voor u."

Happy New Year everyone!

  1. Going back to its roots as a soap opera strip, Mary Worth embarks on a love triangle storyline. Actually, it’ll be a pale revamp of Evil Entertainer Esme and the Hapless Hoosiers, with far less attractive characters. Happy New Year, all!

  2. Happy New Year, friends!

Panel 2: Oh that Toby, putting herself first. I see storm clouds gathering just behind those bizarre explosions.

  4. Whoa, Toby actually says something affectionate! The world has come off its axis. (I hope Ian fumbles around for something nice to say to her and comes up with, "Thank you for being you.")

  5. Scottie McW, I am pulling for Professor Chinbeard to break out in a very, very poor rendition of Barry Manilow's top hit, "I'm Glad You're Having My Baby." Heh.

  6. Happy New Year to you and your family, Wanders!

  7. Ruffled shirt and brown velvet jacket; did Ian pull his wedding suit out of mothballs for this special occasion?

  8. We went to a time-honored New Year's tradition here, The Appliance Toss (just what it sounds like). This year's was the last after 35 years of tossing (and recycling) dead appliances as a way to sweep out the old year and usher in the new. I expected Toby and Ian to put in an appearance, but my superior detecting skills informed me that their apparel wasn't up to the Toss. Hope everyone had a fun New Year's and on to the laughs of 2019!

  9. Ian takes this sentimental moment to tell Toby he’s just changed into a black tux. Will the party last long enough for him to change into his baby blue one?

  10. Happy New Year to one and all! Looking forward to more clever snark attacks in the coming year.

I wish all election ballots were as entertaining to read as the Worthy Awards. Being a good citizen, I voted early and often.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
