Mary Worth 3112

I admire Arthur Z's commitment to the long con. It's always a risk to hit your mark twice. She might start to think something's up. Or worse, Toby might start to think. Period.

  1. In Cleveland, folks are celebrating Dyngus Day. In Estelleland, every day is Dingbat Day.

  2. Arther's got 99 problems but a gullible widow ain't one.

  3. Somewhere, in the bowl of unseasoned Cream of Wheat that is Estelle’s brain, a synapse is attempting to fire. Let us all tune in tomorrow to see if it was successful.

  4. I can't believe I am HOPING Mary will show up tomorrow and save Estelle from herself. Don't think I can endure a week of hand-wringing and doubt as Estelle tries to figure this out for herself. Perhaps she will consult with Libby as she did before heading out to wire $$ to AZ the last time.

  5. Maybe Estelle is starting to understand Libby's meows that telling her "You in danger, girl!"

I'd like to know what Arther/ur spend that 10K on other than a fancy hotel room and champagne. He sure didn't upgrade his living style or his cleanliness. He must have lost the rest of the money at the track. Arthur/er's not very good at his con game. usually the grifter ups the ante, not lowering it.

Estelle is the most stupid person ever drawn. She's never seen this clown in person, yet she wants to keep giving him money. Someone should call the ASPCA on her. She's incapable of thinking for herself, much less a cat.

  6. Meant to put *that ARE telling her.* I type faster than I think, sort of like Estelle's brain.

  7. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"In Which Estelle Starts Adding 10 And 5 And Comes Up With...Muffins?".

    Do.
    Ten thousand dollars took care.
    Work repairs. Five thousand.
    With?
    Of course!
    Back.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
