Mary Worth 3194

So, where are you planning to spend the night?

  1. I propose that the Dawnism “doing long distance with you” is banished permanently from the face of the earth. Ick!

I hope Hugo’s baggage left without him and is winging its way to Abu Dhabi, never to be seen again. Wouldn’t it be great if the same thing happened to his pet/little cabbage/hair scrunchie?

In p. 3, what’s the chartreuse rectangle behind these dweebs? Is June bored? (Well, why not? The rest of us have been, for weeks.)

  2. OK...Maybe it's the heat (pushing 90 here on the last day of summer), but I find myself feeling sentimental about poor Dawn, she of the Many Pointless Romances. Perhaps she HAS found true love. A girl can hope. I look forward to seeing Dawn on Skype with Hugo, especially her attempt to explain Skype to Mary. "It's like moving pictures, but with real people." No sour grapes here.

  3. Next Buzz Buzz:

It’s Mary, and after hearing the romantic story, insists that Dawn stay with her overnight (“you have to think about your reputation, dear”).

Dawn reluctantly agrees, and Hugo beds down for the night, tucked into Wilbur’s Heavyrest bedding set.

    Next Buzz Buzz :

It’s Wilbur, and there is screaming from both sides. Soon Mr. Allora shows up with his 5 gallon watering can and breaks up the fight.

Mary rushes in and tells Wilbur she’ll have to report the wet carpeting to the Condo Board.

  5. Given that he did a student "exchange," Hugo must be fairly young. I don't really see an 18 or 19 year-old male being happy in a relationship with someone on the other side of the planet.

Also, most 18-year-olds are pretty reliant on their phones. Wouldn't Hugo text Dawn before just showing up?

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
