Mary Worth 3309

Meddle much, Mary? Oh, wait, what am I saying?

  1. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"Mary Is Clearly Not Up On Her Adulting".

    Jared! Work.
    Together?
    Visit. Introduced!
    Friends...?

  2. "And this is how you treat your boyfriend in France with whom you are deeply and madly in love? I see. Well, I guess faithfulness isn't for everybody. So, how are your classes? Have you met any interesting study buddies?"

  3. P.S. It appears that the exterior of every single building in Santa Royale features a false stone facade.

  4. “You had lunch TOGETHER, Dawn?”

“No, Mary, we sat at separate tables.”

No one ever asks Mary if she and Jeff are just friends. Everyone knows that Mary and Jeff are barely nodding acquaintances.

  5. "I would have introduced you, if you weren't lurking by the salad bar, plotting your next move."

  6. Boundaries, Mary. Boundaries! But I do admire the way you coordinate your outfits with the exterior colors of whatever building you're meddling (excuse me, "volunteering") in.

  7. So funny, everyone. I smell a recycled plot here...Didn't we already have the "we're just friends" plot with Dawn and Harlan, her (ahem) yoga teacher and professor, complete with accompanying judgmental behavior on the part of Dawn's friends? As for recycled plots, it appears that Hugo may be cut from the same cloth as Dawn's last love interest, Dr. McCreepy.

  8. The way Mary is practically on top of Dawn reminds me of a SPongebob Squarepants episode where Spongebob is practically on top of Squidward and he says "Did we have a conversation about personal space?"

President Trump wrote a book about thirty years ago called "The Art of the Deal". I think Mary should update this book and call it "The Art of the Meddle".

  9. "Well, Mary, Jared and I are not enemies and we're not total strangers, so I guess that makes us friends. What other options are there for an honest woman who has, as you know, already committed herself to the love of a sexy French hunk? I know you and Dr Jeff have an 'open relationship,' but I am not that kind of girl."

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
