Mary Worth 3344

Ze French hearts, zey are so much more résilient zan ze American hearts.

Something tells me, he isn't going to take it as hard as you think. He tried to end things before he left, you begged him to "do long distance," so he spent the night and then headed off to France. Now I assume you're staying with him while he enjoys an American business trip. He's using you girl. Get out of there fast.

  1. Wanders, you're back! We trust you had a productive day cuffing around motorcycle gangs for ruining your pleasant Sunday with their infernal noise. Good man.

  2. Can't help wondering if KM named the hapless daughter of Wilbur Weston "Dawn" as a kind of irony. If there's one character in the Worthiverse less likely to have reality dawn on her, I don't know who it would be... Estelle, maybe.

  3. Yep, add me to the long list of those who think Hugo will be far from crushed when Dawn gives him the sad news. He might not even notice. BTW, Cupcake, the gift you really need is a thesaurus or some vocabulary-building app. New York’s an “amazing” city, the Statue of Liberty is “amazing,” etc. Bleah.

When Dawn returns to Jared and they profess their love at Diner, maybe Dawn will ask that the French fries be renamed Freedom fries.

  4. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"He's Had His Heart Broken Far Worse By French Girls".

    Gift! Amazing!
    Ha ha! Try!
    So many...
    (Break?)
    Mon plaisir!

  5. Didn't Hugo travel to NY for work? Has he even put in an appearance at the office yet? I hope, when he does, he brings Dawn with him. That way she can meet Babette, the other new employee their company sent with him to NY.

  6. Hugo is an arrogant, empty headed twit. What heart are you talking about Dawn?

  7. I looked up what the Moulin Rouge show is like yesterday. I have had the Can-Can music stuck in my head since then.

I think Hugo was just disappointed that Hamilton didn't have any topless women in it (I assume).

  8. Saturday April 11: Dawn tells Jared she needs to talk to Hugo "face to face." They did that thingy at the airport and haven't looked each other in the eye since. I think Jared is in for a long wait. Sheesh.

  9. I'm surprised that Mr. Smug hasn't said "Theese Statute has a nice view, but our Eiffel Tower has a better one."

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
