Mary Worth 3347

So far, we've done the High Line, the Empire State Building, the Freedom Tower, and the Statue of Liberty, all places with great views, but apparently, Dawn is still seeking clarity. Today she looks like she's happy again. She even put on that cheap little seashell Hugo gave to her.

  1. They're on the Brooklyn Bridge? The Chrysler Building observation deck must have been closed.

I assume they're standing still in that panel. It would be funny as heck to see two people walking with that kind of body juxtaposition.

  2. That cheapo necklace Hugo gave Dawn is the sum total of “the so many gifts you gave me” remark she made on Monday.

Hugo has an unlimited supply of downtime, doesn’t he? Does he ever check in with his employer? Is his supervisor paying attention?

Tee hee, Hugo made a funny about crossing bridges while on a bridge! That alone should make someone (anyone - please!) shove him off this one.

  3. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"Love's More Punderful The--Never Mind; This Is Insufferable".

    Love. Move?
    Work. Both.
    Je ne sais pas! Cross!
    Ha ha!

  5. France is 6 hours behind New York - so if he only has to check in with Paris he'll have afternoons off (but should be starting very early). (If he's supposed to be working in the New York office, he'll be missed.)

BUT - the French have a 35-hour work week which is often implemented as every other Friday off. (26 days) PLUS - a MINIMUM 25 vacation days.

So he can take pool of over 50 days off to draw from.

  6. I find it hard to believe could instantly convert his degree from Santa Royale Community College into a high paying job, unless his pere is also his boss.

  7. Nance! “Punderful”! I love it! And today’s BFH is almost exactly a haiku, minus about six syllables...

  8. Wait just a minute here. "Will you still move to the U.S. in the future?" When the heck did he ever say he would do that? In fact, wasn't his determination to stay in his vastly superior country the reason they were going to have to try "long distance"? But his answer should provide all the clarity Dawn needs: "It depends on my work. It has, uh, rien to do avec you, ma Cherie." Burn. By the way, what happened to the rest of the skyline in P2? Did the former governor of NJ eat it?
