Mary Worth 3409

Nothing brings greater joy to my heart than hearing a Mary Worth character say something like, "This will take more time. The story is moving along too quickly. Let's slow things down a bit." It's what I live for.

  1. Happy Fourth, Wanders and MW&Me friends! Here's what I was hoping for from Mary this morning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVSjTREaS1k

  2. More time to warm up to Saul and Greta, hmm? If that’s the case, Madi will be living with them until she’s pushing 40. Of course, by that time, both Saul and Greta will be sharing real estate with the late Bella.

I had to look up “slobbish” to be sure it wasn’t coined by KM. Merriam-Webster says it’s legit; synonyms include untidy, slovenly, slatternly, blowsy/blowzy, and frowsy/frowzy. Saul can choose an Adjective of the Day. BTW, since he tells Mary that Madi is 13, why does he add that she’s young? In case Mary’s not listening carefully?

Happy Independence Day to Wanders, his family, and my Worthiverse friends! Take care of yourself and others, everyone.

  3. "Yeah, just give her a little more time, Saul. I'm sure she'll just magically change her behavior."

Once again, Mary is being coy. She's not rushing in with the meddle to the metal. She's going to play Saul like a fish on the line, just like she played Dawn.

"Saul's not desperate enough yet," she thinks. "Before I straighten everything out for him, I want him crawling to me on his knees."

  5. Molasses moves faster when it’s warmed up. Not much faster, but still.

Happy Fourth Wanders, Mrs. Wanders and all the commentators!

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
