"Greta's just like me! I think I'll get a lower back tattoo of her to always remember her by."
It has been tricky for me to find time to post. I was away in Utah, attending my son's wedding ...
... and things are very busy at work right now.
Perhaps soon, my life will return to its regular moderate pace and I can devote more energy to forcing myself to care about Mary Worth and and her so-called friends.
Stay well, everyone.

ReplyDeleteCongrats and best wishes to all the Wanderses!
I think Mary rates a full sleeve.

Right.
Oh?
Not! Understand.
Friends...
(Saul!)
Wanders, I suppose a family wedding is a decent reason for abandoning MW and all of us.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
Congratulations to your son and daughter-in-law! May they enjoy a long, happy life together!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the Wanderses!
ReplyDeleteMe Wynter has a tramp stamp image of Greta??
ReplyDeleteThat’s Mr. Wynter.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Wanders. All the best to your son and his bride.
Mazel tov! How wonderful for your family. May they have a lifetime of health and happiness.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and all the best to the newlyweds and their families! The groom certainly resembles his dad. Attending such a happy event is much better than going to Venezuela to bring back Lyle, Wanders. And, thanks for the Pinterest link. The Picasso design caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteIt’s good that Madi specified “Greta the dog.” Otherwise, confusion would have reigned: Greta the octopus? Greta the penguin? Greta the lemur? Greta the aardvark?
Congratulations to your son and felicitations to his bride.
ReplyDeleteWonderful that you were able to pull off a wedding in this strange time. All congratulations to you and your family. I'm sure the bride is proud to be a part of your blog. Anyway, you'll hear soon, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on happiness in these less-than-happy times. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteCongrats and best wishes to the newlyweds Wanders. Was the cake banana bread cake with a secret ingredient?
ReplyDeleteIs that Saul I hear in the background? Singing "Sunrise, Sunset"
ReplyDeleteLovely couple, Wanders. I wish them every happiness in the book.

Congratulations to your sn and his bride. May they have many years of happiness together.
ReplyDeleteI've missed you Wanders. I thought you had given up on the story like the rest of us had. We're in for another week of how happy Madi is that she likes Greta, Mary reminds her of Gram and Mary's smug asides to herself.
Nice of Madi to remind us, she's talking about Greta the dog and not Greta the actress.
Thanks for the clarification. Greta THE DOG. I'd forgotten if Greta was a person, cat, or dog.
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad Madi and Mary have finished toweling off their hair. And all the best to your son and new daughter-in-law, M. Wanders. Sooner or later she will need to know she has married into a family where at least one member follows Mary Worth. Might as well be sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteAll the best to your son and daughter-in-law. What a lovely couple. (I just thought you’d given up finding something to say about another one of Mary’s victory laps. True, it was a lap around the pool this time, but not enough to miss a wedding.)
ReplyDeleteWanders! You have the BUSIEST kids! They are always getting married, or graduating, or singing, or moving away to college. Congratulations to you and Mrs. W for steering them so successfully, and to them for being successful adults.
ReplyDeleteBut,,,did anyone notice Madi’s strange shrink spurt in the Sunday (8/23) strip? In the first panel, she is her usual teenaged giantess self. But in panel 3, she is a tiny child!
Congratulations, Wanders!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Wanders and Mrs. Wanders, and to your son and new daughter-in-law — and thanks for sharing a flicker of hope during these dark times.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the lovely young couple! God grant them many years together. My daughter is planning a in January, and it's nice to see it can be done.
