Mary Worth 3652

Classic Fortune Cookie: If you wear your Rolex in the woods, you'll wonder what time it is at home.

  1. Excellent point in your secret message, Wanders. Every now and then, KM throws an inside pitch to brush us back.

When Drew goes to the garage to look for his watch: “Oh no...did I lose my car?”

I’m guessing Ashlee won’t invite Drew to dinner and more at her home in Hovel Heights.

  2. Everyone who wanted to see Shauna? Well, here she is. Drew just hasn't recognized her yet because she dyed her hair blonde.

  3. Maybe a Creature of Nature stole it, Drew.

I hope it’ll at least be enough to get the Venetian blinds fixed!

  4. Ashlee and Arthuer can compare notes.

  5. Ashlee:
"I wonder how much I can get for this watch?"
If you have no priors, then six months probation and a stern look from Mary. The court is tempted to sentence you to a year living with Mary, but the Supreme Court ruled that is Unconstitutional under the Eighth Amendment.

  6. But when was he wearing it? It isn't shown in any of the photo shoot panels.

  7. Wow, not only did something happen on a Sunday, something magnificent happened! KM is thinking outside the envelope and pulling out all the nine yards on this story line.

Speaking of magic, copping Drewie's watch without him knowing was a pretty neat trick.

  8. If you live in a squalid, broken-down hovel, you must be a thief, a grifter, and quite possibly, promiscuous (is that last word still in use? I’m old.). Anyway we must judge people by their surroundings. Obviously Arthu/er, Ashlee, and Tommy’s pusher friend—I assume he lives in that back alley—are clearly bad people. The people living at Charterstone or in Dr. Jeff’s mansion are the best of the best. And judging by their actions, the dumbest of the dumb.

  9. Ashlee has mad pickpocket skilz. Or the clasp on the Rolex is loose and the watch fell off and Ashlee "found" it. Fingers crossed for an epic Pawn Shop excursion.

  10. Too right! @Anonomous 10:26am. I checked back to April 16 (your welcome) and Drew has never been shown wearing a watch.

I think Ashlee might have pulled this stunt a little too soon. She could have probably managed to cheat Drew out of much more if she bided her time. Maybe Arthur gives lessons.

  11. I think maybe Moy showed a little reveal on Sunday so she could take Monday off.

  12. Yeah, we get it KM. Why bother with anything new today? Who's going to read Mary Worth on Memorial Day? Or on Christmas Day; or Easter; or weekends; or weekdays...

  13. It’s just like dumdum Drew to say “My Rolex!” to himself instead of “My watch!”

  14. I was secretly hoping this story arc would turn out like My Fair Lady, but in Mary Worth all love turns to larceny.
