You’re right, Wanders, Ashlee needs to kick her grift into a higher gear.
Good thing panel one clarifies that it’s young Dr. Cory who Ashlee is wondering about. Otherwise, we’d all be wondering about Jeff (though an Ashlee-Jeff encounter has all kinds of possibilities).
Boy howdy, June went all out on the trash stereotypes today, including overflowing trash. All that’s missing is Arthur/Arther’s tied-up hound dog.
Oh, dang, Young Dr. Cory will give her the Five Grand and Trashlee will realize someone - finally! - Came Through For Her after all these years. The first person to care, to believe in her. And there will be a complete redemption of her grifting soul and she'll even return all those sugar packets she's stolen from the diner. She will be inspired to get her GED and ultimately become a doctor, just like Young Dr. Cory.
I like the design of Ashlee's trailer, though it appears too small to be someone's house. It is easy to forget how nice it looked before all the years of deferred maintenance.
I've figured it out. June can't draw a human hand performing a normal activity to save her life but she draws a mighty fine concrete block. She must be a cubist.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

Trashlee has a business idea! She'll rent out her trailer as a charming scenic holiday location.
DeleteWhen Trashlee uses her painted talons on Drew's face, you won't see the blood.

ReplyDeleteWell, Ash, there's only one thing to do. Barge into the People's Clinic screaming and call him an @#$%.
Worked out pretty well last time.

ReplyDeleteIsn't this kind of the same story as Arther ? As well as the same housing situation, minus the dog.
