Mary Worth 3717

Wilbur is confused because he thought she said she loves catfishers. Which she did.

  1. "Estelle, are you saying I'm intolerant of Libby?" he asked incredulously.

Wilbur zeroes out on the self-awareness scale.

  2. Estelle looks strangely pleased in Panel 2 - maybe she realizes this is her chance to dump Wilbur with her integrity intact. She wants out, and "things have changed...on your end" casts her in a much better light than "I've tried to move past the image of the Wilburbabies and I just can't!"

Libby is by far the most self-aware being in this storyline.

  3. @Scottie McW., not only does Wilbur zero out, he’s deeply into negative territory on the self-awareness scale. “I tolerate that one-eyed fleabag. I simply expressed my opinion when I mentioned wringing her neck.”

Wilbur’s overdue for another appointment with Dr. Sweater Vest.

  4. So Wilbur threatens to kill Estelle's cat and then Estelle goes on a long walk with him instead of kicking him to the curb. Who does this?

  5. @Wool Worth – I don’t know. Neither does Bob Dylan:

    From: Things Have Changed

People are crazy and times are strange
I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range
I used to care, but things have changed

  6. Estelle chose the scenic path to the beach cliff, where Libby lies in wait. Accidents can happen to anyone.

  7. Those boulders look kind of promising. Lure him closer, Estelle.
" I don't know what happened, Officer. He tripped and fell over a stray cat that came out of nowhere."

  8. No, you misunderstood! I said I tolerated CATS, but only because I respect Andrew Lloyd Webber’s previous work. And I actually hated the movie!
