If Wilbur ever (ever!) had any redeeming qualities, they melted away as he packed on more pounds. Yuck! BTW, his combover is especially nasty today. Maybe June detests him too.
Speaking of pounds, if Libby really does weigh only seven pounds, that’s low for an adult cat. All that tufted fur has to weigh something. More quality time with Mommy Estelle (argh) should include more quality cat food.
I came here to say what KitKat did regarding cat weight. We're fostering an abandoned kitten and, now that it gets to eat kitten chow, it already weighs three and a half pounds.
I can’t say I’m especially fond of Libby but I think she’d better keep her eyes open. Er… make that keep an eye out for Wilbur. He’s definitely plotting something despicable. I think he’ll tell Estelle that he’s had a change of heart and he is now willing to try to get back in Libby’s good graces. In fact, he’s booked her a fabulous kitty cat spa day at glamorous Kitty Kingdom where all the celebrity cats go! He’s prepaid the $200 fee and he’s even going to drop her off himself. He’ll neglect to tell Estelle that he was sure the drop-off spot was in the high speed lane of Highway 101. Oops; sorry, Estelle; bye-bye Libby.
HelenClark, That is similar to what I was thinking. Wilbur is going to do something to try to avenge his loss. Of course, it is not his fault he can't get along with Libby. With her out the way Estelle will only have him to turn to for companionship.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

ReplyDeleteAlone again . . . naturally.
Not to mention deservedly.

Maybe Estelle needs to get a 90 pound Rottweiler to protect her and Libby?
ReplyDeleteWilbur still doesn't understand that he was dumped over his psycho behaviour. I think he's the bat-crazy one.
Does this group get the old joke about the cat is on the roof?
ReplyDelete@Otismaximus, the one that ends like this: “By the way, how’s mom?” “Well, she climbed onto the roof….”?
ReplyDeleteHaHa! You got it.
