I suppose Wilbur mentioning his too-big apartment and the absence of his daughter is aimed at Ms. Ponytail. “Oh, you’re all by yourself! Why don’t I accompany you and Pierre to your place to make sure all goes well? I could even cook dinner! Do you happen to have a piano?” Dream on, Wilbur. Th only place where you’re God’s gift to women is in your own mind.
Amazing! Just saw a post on FB by one of the dog rescue groups near me. They’ve posted a photo of a French bulldog! He’s 4 yrs old “friendly but ornery!” Didn’t offer his name; maybe it’s Wilbur.
I’m going to so very much enjoy Pierre’s first tooth-bared, angry snarl at Wilbur. And Wilbur’s face. I’ve never purchased a print of a comic, but that scene would tick all the boxes.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

ReplyDeleteHa ha, the reCAPTCHA I got for my above comment had me select photos of fire hydrants. Things to come, Wilbur, things to come!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how we'll handle this on a family friendly forum when it works out just fine.

ReplyDeleteYes, there is nothing more compassionate and understanding than threatening to kill your girlfriend's cat.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with how the author here manages to make Wilbur so utterly loathsome. Poor little Pierre.

ReplyDeleteWilbur and The Repulsive Toads would be a good name for an alternative band.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the new Sunday strips will go immediately behind the Comics Kingdom paywall.
ReplyDeleteI was able to find yesterday’s (Sunday’s) thanks to the tip here. I fear alternate avenues will dry up now that the syndicate has made this move.
