Mary Worth 3744

Every time I see these two play, I can't help but think of lions on a British crest being carried into war against the ancestors of Professor Ian Cameron.
And now, as Estelle (the only woman Wilbur hasn't stalked after a break up) prepares to send Libby the Cat on some diabolical plot for revenge, I can't help feeling a sense of dread. Libby doesn't like dogs. And they don't like her. But to be confronted with the fury of lions!

  1. I am beginning to think Estelle is the psychotic one. She has put up with a lot of abuse and threats to Libby, and yet, she seems to be mourning the loss of Wilbur. Could this be a revenge story line, only Estelle is the one who seeks revenge?
    Oh, the possibilities!

  2. I agree, Thunderheels. I think we're about to see Estelle take her turn at stalking. Tomorrow night, she'll be outside Wilbur's window singing the Pina Colada song. I just can't see how the heck she's going to get her piano into the elevator.

  3. Well, any sympathy we might have had for Estelle has gone right out the window. Maybe she and Carol will get their Ashlee and Shauna on.

  4. It’s unanimous - I also immediately figured that Operation Revenge of Estelle is preparing to launch. Will she mount an attack on Wilbur, or will she stalk Carol? Is Pierre in doggy danger, or should Sophie watch her back? Is Estelle capable of targeting both humans and both dogs? That seems to be a tall order for someone as pitiful as Estelle, but perhaps the “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” will kick in. I just hope that whatever happens, one of us can use “Sophie’s Choice” in a snarkily amusing manner.

  5. Unfortunately, I don't think a revenge scenario is in store for us. More likely is that Estelle will run into Mary and be invited to cry over a muffin and Sanka, after which Mary will share her special muffin recipe, laden with Love Potion #9.

  6. I agree with Scottie regarding my sympathy for Estelle and Thunderheels regarding Estelle's mental health. Ugh!

Also, please do not let this end up being about Wilbur and Carol realizing they have nothing in common leading to Estelle and Wilbur getting back together. Estelle needs to grow a spine. And a brain.

Regarding the piano on the elevator, it may take two trips.

  8. Well, Wilbur was obviously not a cat person. Could it be that he really is a dog person. As they say that people tend to look like their pets, I would have guessed him to be pot bellied pig person.

  9. Estelle should see if Arthor is still available. Also. I think Carol will be a one and done character, like Drew's girlfriend

  10. Thank you for the shout out, Wanders. I have no doubt Libby is plotting feline revenge with that dastardly tyrant Edward Longshanks.

Never fear, I stand ready to repel any invasion! (Only last week Toby commented on how repellent I look in a kilt!)
