Mary Worth 3886

One thing I've alwasy admired about the Camerons is what good communicators they are. Ian has communicated very clearly that Toby is not to disturb him with her women's issues, especially while he's sleeping.

    Prediction: Tomorrow's strip will simply be a huge, single panel closeup of Helen's eye, with "I'll report you to school management!" written around her cornea. (Hey, this stuff writes itself!)

    Oh dear. Usually when I decide to ignore problems it involves less thinking. This has been going on for so long I am beginning to think thought bubbles about Toby thinking thought bubbles about Helen speaking word bubbles about school management.

    All this just so Toby can take a mental health day from work and spend it with Mary. Since this strip is called "Mary Worth", I wouldn't think the plots would have to travel through such character torture just to get Mary involved.

    You know, the scene where Mom (the wondrous Piper Laurie) tells her daughter on prom night "They're all gonna laugh at you."
    Yes, Toby, they're all gonna laugh at you. Because Helen's your MOM! (Also, you are an idiot.)
