The Ray Stevens song “Everything is Beautiful” popped into my head, but please don’t add it to the Charterstone Jukebox, Wanders. If I never hear it again, that’ll be too soon.
My initial assumption was that Jess didn't want to leave the house because she was fearful of being mugged again. But during this long (incessant, unremitting, unending) conversation, we learn that it's actually because she no longer feels pretty? Watch out, Jared. That pond isn't the only thing that's shallow.
“The next time I see you, you’ll look even better”? What kind of compliment is that?? It’s high time for Dawnie to power walk past them, since Jared’s chiseled jawline is in dire need of more fist traffic.
@KitKat, I think our transparent friends are the fishy ghosts of Willa and Stellan. After months of being fed nothing but deli meats they have ballooned in size and finally succumbed to fish atherosclerosis, and are haunting the depths of Park Garden Pond.
HelenClark, the only thing shallower than the pond and Jess' obsession with her appearance is Jared's awkward support. Ho-hum...When do we get to hear about the Jeopardy championship?
