"Your heart is leading you across that eight-lane freeway. Listen closely!"
True, Dawn didn't respect you. But have you considered the mental effort required even to pretend that you're in any way interesting? I mean, if Mary's face weren't welded on, you'd be able to see the strain…
The “someone who appreciates me” is a needy, victimized woman, and it was unethical of Jared to become involved with her. He’s worn out his welcome. I hope as he follows his heart it leads him to a long walk on a short pier.
While Jared is plainly disintegrating in front of our eyes, Mary seems to have shed a couple of decades, looking more and more like a spry young lass. Coincidence?
During the Guardians/Red Sox game last night, I couldn't help but think of a certain young hospital worker as I watched Cleveland reliever James Karinchak.
Anybody else think it odd that after inviting herself to sit at Jared's table, Mary now seems to be sitting practically on his lap?
A google image search for James Karinchak shows him looking like a lot of famous men, mostly Gronk. June said she modeled Jared on Michael Cera, and I can still sort of see that.
Poor Jared. He can’t make friends with Dawn. He can’t kiss Jess until he finds closure with Dawn. Tomorrow we will see him sitting outside of the hospital in torn scrubs with Mister Solo in a shopping cart. All Jared has left is his face.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
