Maybe a dose of the miracle substance Retsyn would treat Iris’s wonky thyroid. Thanks for the Certs commercial, Wanders - what a hilarious blast from the past. That rushing river reminds me of Piccadee Falls! I wonder what today’s equivalent of ten cents is.
Ahem, Iris: you look more like Nan’s older sister, or maybe her youthful-looking aunt. The only marginally accurate statement you’ve made is “This feels strange.”
MissScarlet - Judging by her story ideas, her concept of human relationships, her dialog, etc., I expect that probably Moy is about the same age as Mary Worth. Moy just uses a photo of her great, great, great granddaughter on her bio page.
I believe it is disrespectful on the part of Zakie and, to a lesser extent, Iris not to have helpfully corrected Nan the first time she got Iris' name wrong.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

Kit Kat-
ReplyDeleteYou piqued my curiosity. Assuming 1960 is the year the commercial was made ten cents is $ 1.01 now.
That reference just shows Irene’s age….
ReplyDeleteLoved the commercial, Wanders! Both husband and I could recite it word for word. How embarrassing is that?
ReplyDeleteSurely Moy isn't that old, is she?
