I can hardly wait to see Nan and Zak playing peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake at the head table at the wedding reception. It will be such fun to watch them feeding each other pieces of wedding cake while Iris does a slow burn in the background.
I think June is once again being incredibly subtle and subversive with her art in an attempt to bring some realism to this absurd dialogue and storyline. She's drawn Mary looking frankly nonplussed at Iris doing a complete 180 before finishing her Sanka, while Iris has the calculating simper of a woman planning to put strychnine in a certain bridesmaid's hamburger gravy. Sadly the much less interesting plot Karen has planned for us will march on oblivious to the subtext.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
ReplyDeleteIris asks Nan to be her maid of honor. Hilarity ensues.

What does Mary put in her tea?
