Mary Worth 469

I've never really stopped to evaluate Adrian's physical beauty, but, brrrr, tell her your trust fund has evaporated and she turns into a hideously deformed troll with a demon mouth drifting aimlessly across her face.

Today's Full Strip

  1. I think she's going to bite him.

  2. Somehow, I can't give credence the even to a doubly fictitious (that is, fiction within fiction) money manager named Arnie. Arnie, my bookie, sounds far more plausible.

  3. Never play poker with someone named "Slim." Never let someone named "Arnie" manage your money.

But, don't worry, Adrian, I'm working on a plan to , uh, restore my finances. I should have access to a lot of money by, oh, late summer or so.

  4. "I don't need to use words from my mouth to tell you how angry and upset I am because I can do it with my face!"

Maybe Adrian is annoyed because Ted called her "Arnie"?

  5. Do you think the moral of this story will have the social impact of "Identity Theft is Bad"?

  6. Me thinks Queenie is a little pissed. I hope Enormousshop.com will take back her wedding dress.

If Adrian falls for this Arnie crap, I have a bridge in Brooklyn she may be interested in.

  7. I think this moment is Worthy Award worthy.

  8. Well, now, Adrian... At LEAST Ted has his great job with that very prestigious publication-- "Nation's Geography" magazine! I'm sure in a short time he will bounce right back on his feet, or something.

I'm sure your daddy will understand. These things happen sometimes when you trust people named "Arnie".

  9. I think Arnie worked for Bernie.

  10. Moy is sooo hip. Arnie...Bernie...ha...ha, get it?
We are just two seconds away from watching Adrian's head pull a full 360degree spin.

  11. yea, It looks like Arnie madeoff with Ted's money.lol I never thought Ted had the money to pledge but his excuse does have a certain flair. And I agree with Chester, Adrian does look a little perturbed.

  12. So Ted's identity was stolen, then Arnie took off with all his investment money...what's next? Is Lydia going to show up and pull her ring off Adrian's finger? I don't guess even that would cause Adrian to become suspicious. How did she ever make it through medical school?

  13. The same way Moy made it through elementary school.....

  14. I'm betting that Ted is just testing Adrian. His Spidey senses are tingling over Adrian and Jeff's preoccupation with his money. He fears that he is nothing but an open check book to them and that the millions that he inherited are at risk. That would just be the kind of twist that the tallented Ms. Moy is known for.I mean, there's no way that our favorite comic strip writer could be so obvious in portraying Ted as a scum bag, right? Tell me I'm right. PLEASE!!!!!!

  15. So they're sitting right next to each other, but they're communicating using the rear-view mirror?

    Who does that?
