That sounds wonderf... Wait a minute! That sounds exactly like home! Beautiful pool. Gorgeous grounds. Daily walks. The only difference is you didn't have Toby tagging along. You're right. That does sound delightful.
How could that so-called vacation have been so relaxing when she did the same things she did at home: take long walks and meddle?? And she had to go all the way to the desert to take a yoga class? This is just so silly.
They have a beautiful pool that I swam in". As opposed to what? I know, if I went a fancy resort, in The Arizona desert, swimming in the pool would be the last thing I would want to do. I would imagine that under the blazing desert sun I would be more inclined to drink hot coffee, wrap myself in a wool blanket and perhaps light a fire.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
Yes, Toby needs to take time from her busy life of doing nothing to get away.
ReplyDeleteMary didn't tell Toby that she tried yoga. Maybe yoga is too radical for Toby and Professor Chinbeard.
I've probably said this before, but it bears repeating: Somebody please drop some Orange Sunshine in Moy's orange peko.
ReplyDelete... plus, Pax Hellness Center has no horrible clown paintings.
ReplyDeleteI hope Mary starts up prison-style sharing circles/open talks at Charterstone.
ReplyDeleteToby: It would be nice to get away. Now all I need to do is drag my husband along.
ReplyDeleteWhat, now?
I'll bet if someone took out all the repetitions, this "plot" would run about 12 panels.
Gotta love Toby's eyes in Panel 1.
ReplyDeleteWhat is in that orange drink?
@heydave, I had the same thought. Sixth can of Red bull maybe?
ReplyDeleteMary needs to clue Toby in: If you go to Pax, steer clear of the sharing circle.

ReplyDeleteYES! Let the week of recapping begin! I dig hanging out with Toby at the pool, and I can't hear enough about Mary's exciting adventures.
