Mary Worth 1929

What man wouldn't be taken by a woman who can transform herself from Jessica Tandy in "Driving Miss Daisy" to Helen Mirren in just about anything.

  1. Ah. The 'Enchanted Cottage' effect has set in.

  2. Not sure if the upraised hand in that panel is Hanna's, or that of an unfortunate Charterstone pedestrian.

  3. Yes, he's taken an INTEREST in her. Next he'll be wanting them to show each other their ITEMS.

  4. First panel: Mary has a lot of gall to have criticized Hanna's driving when Mary herself is not paying attention to where she's aiming the car. Also, has Dr. Jeff ever noticed that Mary has big, scary hands?

Hanna and Sean may have become "friends" (people in the Worthiverse use "friend" awfully loosely), but are they Facebook friends as well?

Mary looks oddly crestfallen at Sean's INTEREST. Word To MW: Be careful what you meddle for.

  8. What does Wanders have against Helen Mirren?

  9. I think it's pretty clear from panel 1 that the steering wheel is in the middle of the car. That way, whichever lady happens to be paying attention at any given moment can be steering.

  10. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the Great Wall of Charterstone sign is large enough.

Hanna, if you play your cards right, maybe Sean will take you to the prom! (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, yaknowwhatimean)

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
