M. Wanders, I love your reference to the Flower Fairies. . . Since they made their appearance last June, I can never look at a rosebush the same way.
ReplyDeleteBravo, Wanders! Just the thought of Mr. Snips menacing the Flower Fairies had me in hysterics. If Mr. Snips has a voice, I bet he sounds like Sepp Blatter.
ReplyDeleteToday's second panel has all the makings of a fairy tale. There's the Evil Queen, with her gauntlet-clad hands brandishing a torture device, and the Fair 40-Something Maiden sniffing a poisoned rose (maybe some thorns are puncturing her hands, too). Notice how the Evil Queen usually wears a scarf - that's to keep her evil head on her evil shoulders.
Will she or won't she? In fact, these two are made for each other. They're both half a bubble off.
