Dancing flower fairies?

Just what in the name of all that's Charterstone did Mary put into those chicken salad appetizers?

Hallucinogenics?

Olive is either highly imaginative, or deeply disturbed. Since Moy never shows any inclination toward imagination, I'm betting on disturbed.

Oh, Mr. Giella - how far you have fallen from the magnificence of the Shootout at the Santa Royalmart.

I think we're seeing Moy's version of her own childhood. It would explain a LOT!

Wow. I thought we hit a New Low with "cake designer."

I had no idea.

Moy has finally "jumped the shark" with this one.

This explains why Dr. Ed Taylor has six months off from his position as Emergency Room Doctor. He was suspended for swiping controlled substances from the hospital pharmacy. Little does Ed know that the neglected Olive has tapped into some of the "vitamins" her father packed for their Santa Royale stay.

Can we nominate the second panel as Panel of the Year for the Worthy Awards?

This actually should be the panel of the decade! If there is ever a panel "hall of fame", this should be a charter member.

Panel 2 would only be better if the flower fairies were mini-Marys

Well this is certainly a mind-blowing turn of events. The question is who is the psychotic one: Moy or Olive? If Mary gets her pruning shears out and starts angrily clipping off the heads of the fairies thinking they are a mutant form of aphid sent to attack her precious rose farm (which suddenly exploded in blooms from yesterday's lettuce garden), we'll have our answer.

This does explain why Olive saw roses where we only saw grass.

Mary doesn't seem shocked by either hallucination, so I have to suspect that she is a hypnotist of some sort. It'll be interesting to see just what her game is.

Whew! This last week has been nothing but gifts from Moy/Giella, capped off by the Flower Fairies!!. . . Truly, this plot is their way of apologizing for weeks of moping (now mopping) Tommy Beedie. . . The abrupt transition has been more than worth it.

Who needs mind-altering drugs when there’s Mary Worth?

Exceptionally funny comments today from Wanders and everyone else! Karen Moy, thank you for inspiring such creativity.

Why do all of the flower fairies look like Barbie dolls? The plot thickens (for one of the first times, ever).

I thought flower fairies all had pony tails.

If Moy's editors had any compassion, they would stage an intervention.

Ahhh... now I remember. I ususlly put MSG in my chicken salad, not LSD.

Wednesday

Even the Flower Fairies in the Worthiverse are WASPs.

Did Tommy see flower fairies before he went to jail?

That ever-so-wise Mary Worth will be a fine companion to this creative, imaginative child! I especially enjoy seeing Mary as "the sleek active Jessica Fletcher from 'Murder She Wrote' that we see today" as noted by Karen Moy on her official Mary Worth site: http://maryworthcomics.com/

Bonus: You can read the strip even earlier at the official site. Tomorrow's will be a real doozy!
