Huzzah to the commenters yesterday who predicted 3E draped over a piano. No one predicted that the late Liberace would be at the keyboard, though. Since Liberace has left the piano, is 3E singing "Anything Goes" a cappella?
I hope 3E pulls out a marribou stole and drapes it around Derek's neck.
"Anything Goes". How appropriate for a shipboard storyline. That's an uptempo, peppy number, though, not sultry at all. If we're going to stick with Cole Porter (and I'm always up for that) how about "Begin the Beguine" or "Love for Sale"?
Now Katie is going to be furious with Derek as if it's his fault. If Derek has a brain cell in his head, he'll say, "Let's go somewhere else. We've already seen her."
Katie will remain frosty for the rest of the evening and through the next day of course, but at least she won't be dropping the D word.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

A stole neck-drape would be so incredibly awesome, and make our last month of slogging through this pointless banality finally worth it.

Uh-oh. In Moy's world, singing "Anything Goes" at a man is pretty much a straight-out proposition.
ReplyDeleteKatie looks very annoyed. Her plan of avoiding the theater has backfired in a big way. Who could've seen that coming? Oh yeah, all of us.
