Mary Worth 2645

Oh! Oh! Let me answer! Let me answer! It was the best cruise EVER! I especially enjoyed the many offshore activities such as door kicking and horseback riding on romantic isolated beaches! But there were very good onboard activities, too, like browsing the photo gallery and towel folding. And the FOOD!

I'd be remiss if I didn't also didn't congratulate Dawn on her new position as "Uber driver: 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. shift." Good job!

(apparently I've awakened a little cranky over the lack of pool party)

  2. That's it!??! No goodbye to Derek and Katie? The only farewell we get from 3E is "The one that got away?" I feel really cheated.

I'm guessing that Harlan got Dawn a job as his "ahem" assistant.

    Good Morning! Cruise?
    Good Morning! Great...Professional!

  4. @Nance,

Hey, welcome back! I'm sure we've all been doing our own BFHs while you were away, but they were pale imitations at best.

    So how was your cruise?

  5. Well, I was wrong - KM actually introduced a new plot (loose use of that term) in mid-week. Astonishing!

Mr. Allora let those roses go to pot as Mary cruised. Tsk tsk. You just can't get good help anymore.

If a purple shirt tucked into a dark magenta skirt or pants that match Mary's shirt is "professional" attire, I'm guessing Dawn's work is at someplace like a call center. Even after more than a decade as an undergrad, her qualifications are minimal. Of course, this being the Worthiverse, maybe Wilbur finagled her a position as a reporter for the Santa Royale Bugle Herald Press News.

  6. Oh, please no. Not another Dawn story.

  7. Thanks, Nance! I'd still like to hear your title for the BFH from July 8, the famous "shrew times 2" haiku.

  8. Kit Kat,

Almost lost my key board on that one!

  9. Possible jobs for Dawn? I do like KitKat's suggestion of telemarketer, but how about door-to-door magazine sales? Department store perfume spritzer? Oh, maybe she filled that long-vacant position at Jerry's Sandwich Shop. That restroom must be in pretty desperate condition by now.

  10. I'm thinking more of something along the lines of Maggie Gyllenhaal's character from 'Secretary'. I'll leave it at that to keep things appropriate!

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
