Well played Iris. We'd all like to do that to Wilbur.
Ironically, Wilbur was actually Skyping (or whatever they call it in the Worthiverse, perhaps Strifing?) from his condo unit, 212 in building B, elsewhere in Charterstone. It will only be slightly awkward when the video chat ends and they both depart their respective buildings and meet up at the pool party.
Sigh, we move from one unpleasant woman in a bad semi-relationship to another. And this was after Katie and Esme. But on the male side, Derek and Dr. Dreamboat were no bargains either.
Wilbur seems to be the only supporting character recently who has any principles and honesty.
One wonders how KM came up with a name like Fabiana? I know there was a pop singer named Fabian back in the fifties, but I can’t remember a single song of his, so I doubt if that’s the inspiration. Perhaps Fabiana is a fabulous and fabled fabrication in the mind of Wilbur?
Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "Our Next (Commercial) Adventure: Wilbur Tries To Win Fabiana By Learning All About Bogota, Colombia's Many Cultural Sites".
Sorry! Santa Royale...Bogota... Well... --Click!--
@fauxprof: The one Fabian song that comes to mind for me is "Turn Me Loose"". Wanders, aybe you can load that into the Charterstone Jukebox as a favor to Wilbur.
Iris isn't upset that she no longer has a relationship with Wilbur. She's upset because being dumped by an unattractive loser like Wilbur bruised her ego. I am wondering if breaking up via Skype is the modern day version of a Dear John letter.
Looks like we'll be seeing another platter of carrot muffins. I can't wait to hear what Mary's advice is. I also can't wait to see Iris and Dawn exchange catty glances at pool party.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

We don't need to see Fabiana's tattoo, Wanders. Just please tell us that it was copied from a photo in Charlotte's Web?
ReplyDelete@fauxprof at 9:38 a.m., KM was all set on "Shakira" until she found that name was already taken.
ReplyDeleteEven flower fairies would be a welcome relief from the Westons and Beedies!

ReplyDeleteIs this going to be the Mary Worth version of "Modern Family" where
ReplyDeleteWilbur = Jay (Ed O'Neil)
Fabiana = Gloria (Sofia Vergara)
KM can just repeat old episode plots; never has to work again.
Can't wait to hear the backstory on Wilbur & Fabiana met.
Wilbur hasn't seen Iris as drawn by June Brigman.
Pool Party should be fun.

ReplyDeleteDo you suppose Wilbur pronounces Bogota to rhyme with "pagoda"?
