Mary Worth 2710

Maybe you shouldn't have broken up with him before he went on his trip...? I'm just wondering.

  2. Oh, goodie, Tommy is back. We really missed Tommy, didn’t we? I see he has the same haircut (or lack of one) and has not changed his T-shirt in a year. I have only two questions: Does anyone really call their mother “Ma”? And why is there a piece of cheese in a drinking glass?

  3. "How dare he break up with me after I threw a petulant hissy fit, broke up with him, ignored his entreaties to reconsider, and had a fling with a younger, handsomer man? The nerve!"

So how does Iris go sobbing to Mary about Wilbur after she's already sobbed to Mary about Zak? Even Mary must have some limits as to how much idiocy she'll put up with, no?

    Well okay, No.

  4. I think Iris could use some of Mary's carrot muffins right about now!

  5. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "Talk About Getting Bad News...!"

    Run course? Save?
    Ma? Okay?
    Tommy! Bad!

Good to know Tommy is doing well... He's clean-shaven.

  7. Iris needs to chew some of her frozen iced tea, she'll feel better.

  8. That's the first time that "Wilbur" and "run" have been used in the same sentence.

Speaking of sentence, Iris just dodged one by getting out of her non-relationship with Wilbur. Doesn't Dawn know a nice Doctor that might be a good match for Iris?

  9. Wanders, I nominate "If He Walked into My Life" (from Mame) for the Charterstone Jukebox.

Looks like Tommy dropped the pork chop from his set of plastic play food into that glass.

  10. Sounds like Iris needs to review past interactions for possible causes!

  11. Who walks around taking bites of a slice of bread/toast? People with crumbs all over their floor. It's like I have to tell my four year old. Eat over your plate!

  12. Once again, I went to Google to search for Fabiana. This time I looked at Google Images and all of the women there are way out of Wilbur's league. But upon scrolling down, I did find a Fabiana Bakery. We've been barking up the wrong tree. Wilbur isn't in love with a girl name Fabiana, he's in love with the Fabiana bakery, which in Wilbur's case, makes way more sense.

  13. From the Freudian Slip Department- I found that something that has "run it's course" "continues through it's cycle of existence, especially a disease". Looks like Iris' relationship with Wilbur was one long fever that is now, thankfully, over. Maybe she could write a country song about it...
