I wonder what Ben Franklin would say about that sun emblem on the half-and-half container. Would he say it's a rising sun or a setting sun? Or perhaps it's Wilbur's heart exploding in million shards of burning fire.
Dawn has a teeny tiny hand in contract to her big giant head. Her neck is looking a little crepey, too, but that’s just Mary leaching the life and youth and joy out of the other characters. Not to worry.

Perhaps El Tonto will lbs during the 2nd drawer of Iris' dresser to get back his sweatshirts. All except for the one he'll need to awkward ask Zak, who had been wearing it as a baggy-albeit short- nightshirt, to take off and return.
Is this going to turn into a zany comedy when Wilbur and Dawn, Harlan and a new coed, Iris and Zak, Tommy and his friend (i.e. Vicodin dealer), and Mary and Jeff all end up at the same restaurant at adjoining tables?
By the way, in a remarkable coincidence, as I was driving yesterday, I happened to be stopped in traffic behind a car with two of these decals in the rear window. It was a silver PT Cruiser with lots of pink accents and a personalized license plate. A very embarrassed-looking man was driving it.
I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I have sympathy for Iris and I think she deserves to fully enjoy her fling with Zak without it being interrupted for even a minute by this clueless, despicable, combed-over loser. Heck, even Dawn deserves better.
Yes, Yahoonski! I completely agree.. After all, Iris is the only older female character to be connected to a hot, young suitor, which is revolutionary in the Worthiverse (and elsewhere), where older guys with younger women prevail. Wilbur deserves to be set on his heels just for assuming Iris is waiting at home for his next move. Schmuck.
Panel 2 sums up this whole dysfunctional father-daughter relationship! They only go through the motions of conversation with each other. After a minute, Wilbur and Dawn turn their backs to each other, Dawn sinking into her smartphone universe and Wilbur into his delusional fantasies about Iris. Wilbur, is Iris aware of your “plans”? How long is Moy going to take in restoring everything in the Worthverse to the status quo? Dawn will continue to be hopeless at love. Wilbur and Iris will continue their bland relationship. Dr Jeff will remain in thrall to Mary and Toby and Professor Beached Whale will continue in their sterile marriage. What does Moy have against happy relationships.
On the one hand, Iris dumped Wilbur and *then* got upset that he was with someone else and haunted by his floating head. So my sympathies are tempered by that.
On the other hand, the closest Wilbur ever came to a truly happy fulfilling relationship (sandwiches aside) with anyone was the guy who turned out not to be his son. So Iris definitely is under no obligation to take him back.
