Mary Worth 2909

"What was your mom like, Brandy? Did she ever date one of your classmates? Did she catch you selling drugs or abusing opioids? Did she let you live with her after you got out of prison? We have so much in common."

  1. "I'm close to my mom, too. In the special kind of way that a flea is close to a dog."

  2. Good job Tommy! Now that Brandy's first impression of you is now tightly coupled to painful family memories your relationship with her should just blossom.

We aren't going to see Brandy get drunk and drive up to Lookout Point are we?

  3. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"And A Side Order Of Cries".

    Alone. Passed away...close.
    Oh, sorry!
    Close too. Like?

  4. Why are the women in the Worthiverse always crying?

  5. Tommy: "I'm close to my mom too! We share a one bedroom apartment!"

  6. KM’s Awkward Dialogue Generator is working just as designed. A normal person would say something like “I’m living alone- my mother passed away last year. I really miss her.” Instead we get the claptrap on display today - sheesh.

I’m still wondering why Brandy is looking for chivalry. Have other men guffawed when she told them about the loss of her mother? Did they say, “So you live alone - sweet! Let’s go to your place!”

  7. Fabiana was Brandy's mom. Fabiana committed suicide after being abandoned by a fat white guy with a bad combover.

  8. @chester the dog Look at the men they're stuck with.

  9. Did your Mom help you to become readdicted to opioids like my Mom and my absolutely fabulous neighbour Mary Worth did?

  10. Poor Brandy. I'd cry, too, if I was stuck in Diner with Tommy. Bet he sticks you with the tab, too!

  11. @KitKat, I was also thinking about the weird juxtaposition of words as well. Does KM put them through Google Translate and hope for the best? What is up with “we were...close”. The three dots give it an air of creepiness.

  12. Yes, Tommy, dig deeper into this morsel of human vulnerability.

All of this time, we underestimated you. It seems that, instead of watching Game of Thrones and decrying life's brutality like your typical mope, you have chosen to study Mary. The Meddler. The spider behind the web of vague ennui and intrigue that spans the Charterstone active lifestyle community.

    Look out, Brandy! Meddlin' ahoy!

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
