So I consulted Dr. Google about Iris' symptoms and hypothyroidism pops up the most. Also, the hair on Iris' brush looks like a tail from a My Little Pony. Zak is pretty young after all.
I had a zoom on panel 2 today, and that thing on the hairbrush is either a banana peel or a shoe. The weirdest thing is the sharp edge at the bottom of the heel.
Just recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism myself. One pill a day and that's all you need. I'm disappointed that she's not pregnant though. I wonder if Moy will kill her off. I would be OK with that if Zak then went after Estelle and Wilburp finally jumped off that cliff.
Thanks, Noreen, for letting us know about Nance. I was so hoping she was off having a lovely vacation. Sending her healing thoughts, and hoping she returns here soon.
In Nance's honor, here's my attempt at a BFH:
"My Reaction Upon Reading the List of Nance's Injuries"
GASP!
Wanders, thanks for leading me down the path of difficult reflections. I do miss Joe's art. And your right about the brush. Magically, the reflection is pointing in the same direction as the real brush. I shouldn't talk, though. I only draw stick figures.
Will tomorrow's Thanksgiving panel feature Mary hosting Jeff, Wilbur and Dawn, all beaming as they hoist their wine glasses ? Will Wilbur be calling Jeff "Jeth ?" Will Wilbur be wearing mashed potatoes and gravy ? All signs point to yeth.
Hair loss doesn't usually happen in pregnancy. It's usually after delivery, unless the pregnant woman is not taking vitamins. KM needs to do more research, or else it IS hyperthyroidism. Nance! Hope you are on the mend. We need your opinion about this plot!!
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
I'm having Funky Winkerbean nightmares of the next ten years being about "Iris' Story." Will Zak be the new Les?

ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive chunk of hair! Dr Google tells me it's hypothyroidism as well.
ReplyDeleteI just learned about Nance's fall. If you're "tuning in" during your recovery, Nance, I hope it is speedy and complete. We miss you fiercely.

ReplyDeleteI hope Mary pulls a surprise and invites Zak, Iris, Estelle, and Wilbur separately for Thanksgiving dinner so we can have another fun double date.
ReplyDeleteIf Iris brushes 100 strokes she’ll be bald in 24 seconds.
